A brilliant orange sun sinks behind a pigeon's chest cloud as Istvanski and assorted Scorceses bellow into my ears: "..you lived a lie! You lived a lie"
And they say the age of romance is dead.
L.U.V. on y'all,

"You lived a lie" was the worst Scorseses song recorded. It was also the last, I mean you should've seen the rucks in the studio. It was a sorry, bloody mess. Enrico the Enforcer had to be called in...
ReplyDelete"Blow it outcha ass" was a better song, and it's up on the myspace player if you fancy wasting 5 minutes of your life.
Another fab podcast Bob - by way of strange synchronicity I now have to revise a few on mine as I had Dusty and Stray Cats lined up! Yes, The Half Moon was a great place - I saw Dr John there in the early 80's - was amazing. I miss it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ro.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realise it had closed down. No wonder there's never anyone on there...
Dr. John? Bet that was good. When we saw Dwight, it was like being in some hick honky tonk. They'd put these cheap little round plassy tables in. Horrible Youngs beer as well. Mind you. worth it all to see DY - and Dave Edmonds, who was wearing a *fantabulous* drape jacket..
I liked that one Istster. I will check out the prime Scorceses stuff later today, hopefully. Didi you do them all in Noo Joisey accents?
L.U.V. on ya both,
Bobster
