Library Thing...

Well, after all the rave write ups from Timster, Spinster & Mollster, I had to have a look, and they are of course absolutely right - it's compulsively brilliant. So much so that I suspect I'll never be able to drag myself away from cataloguing my vast collection of books in order to post here. So, a double whammy then! And everyone's happy!! Frabjous day, kallooo kallay etc.

Anyone of a bookish turn of mind can see what lines the shelves of the vast Bibliotheque chez Swipe by clicking here...

(I've only just started, so it may take a while to reflect the true scale of my book horde. I have, of course, started with the erotica.

Right, I must away to catalogue....

  1. I love books, I have so many books it would take ages to catalogue them. I pretty much buy a new book every week or so. I have bought 3 this week. 2 arrived on Saturday and i've already read one. I have had a most stressfull weekend and reading calms me hence the book was read by last night.... oopps!

  4. I've started with Library Thing but the books are in a different room to the computer... also the temptation to put sardonic tags on everything is just too tempting :)

  5. Do we still have a zeitgeist? I missed the first 9/11 and sometimes feel I live in a paralell universe.

  10. Oh my goodness - I can't go there. I have so many books - I'll become one of those obese people that have to be cut out of their house because I spent so long cataloguing my collection. What a great idea though.

  11. Oops posted twice in the excitement. It was the mention of 'books' and 'library' that got me all of a dither.
