Hungry Like The Wolf...

Yes, got it in one. This is the first in an occasional series on the dietary habits of Britain's best-loved brain box, Prof. Heinz Wolf*.

The wolf was spotted prowling around the freshly made soups area of the refectory(today's choice, minestrone or cream of mushroom), but wisely elected to pass on both, preferring instead to sample the anorexic cod in batter with boiled new potatoes, peas and carrots. A decidedly sheepish looking Wolf was last seen bumbling around looking for a place to sit mumbling something in heavily accented English about the behaviour of anisotropic polymer particles...

Tum-ti-tum-ti-tum-ti-tumti - ...something about 57 varieties....etc. etc. Please come back all of Bob's old readers - I promise to be funnier in future...

  1. Oh dear have people gone away? I'm sure they'll be back Berta ;-)

  2. I'm still here lurking. I just find all your new personas confusing. I like the Wallis song, betty's been singing it in the bath apparently.

  3. Sorry if the personas have been a bit of a muddle. I'm going to drop all the Changesonebobster stuff soon, anyway. But I'm still the same lovable scallywag I've always been, realdoc.

Sorry I missed you the other day in Hammersmith btw - although I'm sure that's not mutual. If we did ever meet, I'm sure you'd see that underneath the hardbitten, misanthropic, cynical exterior there is a hardbitten, misanthtopic cynic...

I will try to catch up with your casts soon, so do keep doing them.

So it's Betty singing my songs in the shower. I thought one of the pipes had gone and we needed to get the plumber in, so that's a relief!

  4. No, I think they're lost for good now. I'll probably go through the links and weed out all the fair weather Swipesters so I can present a more honest inventory of my littleband of brothers and sisters...

Shame, I always had a soft spot for Spinny.

  5. I'm still here, as you well know.

I just don't like that Berta much.

When's Bob coming back? (Either mad old Bob or slightly less mad more recent Bob would do.)

  7. Still here Bobbit. One posts and one comments, as billy observes, when the mood takes one.

  10. Still here - you old bastard cow.

Lurking as ever and commenting as rudely as I can as always.

  11. More importantly, you've stirred the Mollster from her endless sleep.
